US Passport Online

US Passport Online

Created for a Passport renewal service, I went for muted gradient tones in this so that the ‘action call outs’ would pop more .

Sugardarlings

Sugardarlings

A funky cool site made for a local cupcake shop who also happen to be good friends, alot of nifty css touches here including rounded corners, shadows and gradients. Also a touch of jQuery for the image gallery.

The site evolved from just the logo which I created quite some time before the actual website was requested. The owners had some specific ideas about the logo and I integrated that color scheme into the website design.

Hand Drawn Site Elements

I love the idea of hand drawn site elements, so much of what is created today never exists outside of the digital realm.

I needed a fairly contemporary vehicle, that could be attainable by the twenty to thirtysomething demographic. This seemed to fit the bill!
The Personal Credit Coach

The Personal Credit Coach

The site was called ‘The Personal Credit Coach’, so I needed an upbeat ‘everyman’ type of character to have the widest appeal. I came up with this guy for that role.

Ultimately, The Personal Credit Coach grooms you to be able to purchase one of these.  Again, created a very typical sort of single family home.

This was created to highlight the financial aspect of the concept, nothing gets you thinking about greenbacks faster than a picture of said greenbacks.

The line art was scanned and then brought into Photoshop for cleanup and coloring. Elements were assembled into a collage for the front page and used individually throughout the site.

Ultimately, the idea behind the piece is to make a call to action by painting a picture in your mind of the concept of financial well-being and improvement, hopefully I accomplished that here.
